About Us

Welcome to Spirit Woodworks where everything is custom and unique; established 1999 in Jackson, Wyoming. Brad comes from a family of builders. He has been creating beautiful furniture and home accent pieces for over 25 years, when he first started Spirit Woodworks. We are now a husband and wife team, based out of Daniel, Wyoming.

We consider ourselves a part of the natural world, not separate from it, and that oneness mindset flows through in how we make our furniture. We consider ourselves a bit of purists. We love to leave the wood, whether it be a slab, a stump, a branch, or an old piece of barnwood, as unaltered as possible. That being said, we have the experience to work with the natural flow and take it to the next level, making your piece truly unique and tastefully done. It is our specialty and our inspiration to take the gifts of nature in their most natural form and blend rustic and artistic with functional and refined.

We are proud to bring you custom pieces that come from the heart and through the hands. Our specialties include bar tops, dining tables, small tables, bookcases, mantles, desks, benches, cabinets, handrails, and other home accent pieces. While we specialize in live edge, log, and barnwood furniture, we have created pieces for a wide variety of tastes and style.

In addition to woodworking, Brad has branched out into making various leather pieces as well. This part of our business will expand as he grows and learns more leather work.

Thanks for looking! It truly is our pleasure to fill people's homes with the things we have handcrafted with love.

Brad and Becks

We are a husband and wife team, both from homesteading and pioneering families, focused on natural living. Believing each tree has a soul, we seek to enhance the natural richness and beauty of the wood. We personally select, and harvest many of our materials in a sustainable manner. This allows us to develop a deep personal connection to the wood we use. We love the concept of reduce, recycle, and re-use, and giving a "dead" tree new life in someone's home. Years of collecting beautiful materials has left us with a wide array of natural inspiration.

Sustainability

Our actions on this planet impact everything we do; we strive to do everything with intention and harmony with the Earth. We resource our wood from naturally dead trees as close to site as possible, and we mill most of it right here at our shop.
